He crushed me to him and kissed me again.  This kiss was not aggressive or shy, this was a loving kiss.  One that told me how grateful he was that I was so accepting of his family, and how understanding I was of him.  Edward loved me, and I loved him.  Nothing was going to change that.

He loosened his grip on me and then slid his hands to cup my face.  Gentle again; he didn’t want to hurt me, I could tell.  I loved him even more for that.  Always thinking of me and my safety; typical Edward.  To let him know I was fine I tangled my hands in his hair and slightly pressed against him.  He understood.  He swept me off my feet and held me around my waist.  I wrapped my legs around him and held his face while I kissed him.  

This was what I was waiting for; this is what I wanted and nothing else.  I wanted Edward, and I wanted him forever…and I was going to get it.

He walked to the bed and laid me down in the middle.  He climbed on top of me and kissed me again.  His hands traveled down to my sides and I shuddered.  He paused abruptly out of habit, but soon realized that was a good thing.  He continued and rested his hands on my hips.  I wrapped my arms around his neck and I arched against his chest.  He groaned into my mouth and then slid his hands under my shirt to rest on my lower back.  The coolness made my skin tingle with pleasure and we kissed more passionately.

He broke away and said, “I’m very grateful my family isn't here...I think I'd be ashamed," he said roughly.

I giggled, “Alice already knows what's going to happen you know.”

“This is true,” he said a little breathlessly, “but at least I know she won’t say anything.”

“This is true,” I teasingly mocked.  He smiled at that and returned to kiss me.

His hands reached around the front and started to take off my jacket.  I quickly shrugged it off, and started to unbutton his shirt, although there wasn’t much to unbutton.  When I had finished that I pushed his shirt off his shoulders.  He let that rest there for a second while he gave me another swift kiss, and then shrugged it off as well.  He returned to lie atop me and ravish my mouth.  

He traveled to my ear, then jawbone, then my neck.  To this I stiffened, as did he.  He smelt my blood under the skin, and he sighed.  He then started to suckle my neck, gently nibbling.  It wasn’t enough to pierce the skin, so there was no need to be alarmed; although I couldn’t imagine how mad it was driving him.  The kisses traveled to my color bone then, and then to the top of my chest.  He then looked up at me.  Those black eyes were hypnotizing… I loved it.  

He started moving my shirt up and I arched so he could remove it easier.  When that was removed he stared at my body.  He looked so hungry and loving.  

“Bella…  You never told me how beautiful you are.”

I blushed at that.  I thought I was an average looking girl; I didn’t think my body was very desirable.  Edward thought otherwise.  He bent and kissed right above my belly button, and then traveled up.  My breathing grew quicker.  He reached under me and undid my bra which made me completely realize what was happening.  Of course I knew what was happening, but it really hit me what was going to happen in about five minutes from this moment.  I flushed thinking about it.  He removed my bra and took the sight of me in again.

“I told you it would be more special if we waited.  I’m glad we did…”  Edward bent down swiftly and kissed my lips.  

I threw my arms around him and our chests meshed together.  That feeling was amazing.  I felt as if I was a fire in an immense blizzard…and I reveled in the pleasure of it.  Edward’s hands were everywhere; likewise with mine.  He then reached my jeans.  He paused yet again, and looked at me.

“Are you ready to do this Bella?  We can wait; it doesn’t have to be now, really.  We can postpone this and the turning.”

I looked at him as if he were crazy.  “You and I both know that the two of us have no intention of doing that, especially in our current position.”

He laughed at that and said, “of course my love, just testing you.”

When we were both fully unclothed we slid into the bed and caressed.  My fingers scratched down his back and made him shudder with pleasure.  When we were almost crazed with passion he looked me straight in the eye.  I knew what the look was for, he didn’t have to ask aloud, for I was already screaming it in my head.  If he could hear my thoughts, I don’t know whether he’d be happy or frightened.

“Bella…”

“Edward…”

After that, it was a whole other world.  I didn’t even feel like we were on earth, but in some plane where gravity had no power and we were soaring.  He was everywhere; outside, inside, a part of me, and I wasn’t going to let go.  Edward quickly threw his head back and growled and then quickly returned to possessing my mouth as well as my mind, heart, soul, and body.  I was Edward’s, and Edward was mine.  All mine…for eternity.

We lay exhausted in each others arms, tiny aftershocks coursing through our bodies.  I was pressed against with my arms against his chest, and he held me to him as if protecting me.  This wasn’t unusual…I liked it just the same.  I always felt safe with Edward.  I was content.  

I fought sleep, because I didn’t want to be sleeping while Edward was awake with his mind still racing about what just happened.  If he wanted to talk, I wanted to be awake to do so.  He kissed the top of my head and held me tighter.  I sighed happily against his chest and he chuckled softly.  

“How are you feeling, my love?”

“Better than I could have ever imagined.”  I looked up and smiled at him.

“I feel the same.”

He put a finger under my chin to make me keep looking at him and he kissed me softly and tenderly.  Then he continued to hold me and closed his eyes.

“Sleep Bella, I will stay with you and rest.  I may not be able to sleep, but I can rest; that much I can do.”

“Are you sure,” I asked him.  “You don’t mind?”

“Not at all.  We are both in a state of ecstasy and need some sort of rest.  Sleep, Bella..”

I closed my eyes and then said, “I love you, Edward.”

“I love you, too, Bella.  Forever will I love you.”

“And yet it doesn’t seem long enough does it,” I asked.

“No it doesn’t…not enough at all.”

And then we rested together…and then end of the week could not come soon enough.
