Can't He See?
Can't he see me?
Can't he see my feelings?
He feels so close,
yet so far from me.
His warm embrace..
is one I wish never to leave.
His calming voice..
I wish to hear forever.
His joyous laugh..
is one which I hope never stops.
His sense of humor..
it never ceases to slay me.
His insane mind and inklings..
always reflect mine.
The smell of his cologne..
sends me into heaven.
His tears, how seldom they are..
pierce my soul like a knife.
When he falls so far down..
I always catch him and keep him safe.
When words escape him..
I fill it with the words he can't say.
He is always in the back of my mind..
and...I think I now know why.
Can't you see?
