"Why so serious?..." - The Joker: Dark Night 2008

This is my tribute to Heath Ledger and his most sorrowfull passing. I felt such sympathy, sorrow, and regret when I heard about his death. Sympathy for his family and beautiful daughter Matilda (sp?), sorrow that I will never see his smile grow with an aged face, and regret that he had to die at the young age of 28 in such a sad way. The Joker was his last finished role; since he couldn't finish "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnusses", set for release in 2009.

Heath's death has been quite a shock, and I hope people will remember him as a loving father, son, etc. and leave his memory untouched by stupid rumors and gossip.

I used a mechanical pencil and a regular number 2 pencil. That's it. I looked at actual cards, blah blah blah, you know lol. This is a joker card sitting in a puddle on the street under a streetlamp...The title and this picture I don't think really needs explaining, but I will give a little just to be sure.

This is to represent something along the lines of the joker finally falling in the street and his cards strewn in the street...that he is finally gone. But it's also to represent Heath playing the Joker and that he is finally gone..."his last card"...and "his last role"...

I will have a scanned version up soon, I promise, but this is all I could do for right now.
